No Tablet Stamp by Rubixa-Seraph No Tablet Stamp by Rubixa-Seraph
I MADE A STAMP!

This was inspired from a conversation from :iconprimehunter01:. I was surprised to not find a stamp like this one on the first page of my search...so I made one of my own!

Some of us don't have tablets...but we can make really good art too!

Please tell me how I did. This is the first stamp ever, and I went straight to making a shiny animated stamp.

By the way...I was part of this club for about a year until I received a tablet for Christmas. However, the mouse is still a valuable tool to me. :D

I used to draw with a mouse, but I noticed that it is very difficult and time-consuming. I draw better with a pencil and paper, so I'm going to get a Wacom Intuos tablet. Blush

Good luck! It's a lot to get used to though...feels NOTHING like pencil and paper, but with patience, you can master it!

-sobs-even though I got my tablet last Month ..
it got broken . I even draw like a crap .
I hope I just have a scanner so I can trace it and color it .
since I'm good at coloring with mouse.

-sobs- sometimes I'm good with tablet , sometimes not .
and guess what , my dad doesn't want to repair it .

I agree. I don't want a tablet because it'd be of no use to me, seeing as I draw with a pencil. I seriously have NO CLUE how stuff done on tablets that I could draw in five minutes gets about a zillion comments when stuff that's as good or better drawn on paper gets only one or two comments. :(

I tried a tablet many times, and they're always hard to draw, than I thought. I'm much happier with a mouse, and a laptop touch pad. ^_^

LOL for me the tablet is good for sketching on the computer and sometimes lineart. It helps somewhat in making coloring faster. But the mouse is still much needed.

Tablets are never easy for me. I could just simply draw my pictures on paper, scan, and let the mouse, or laptop touch pad help me trace, and color.

In theory, I payed $300...to be excluded from this club.

...it was worth it. Tablets don't make the art for you, but they make the transition from paper to pixel much more natural. No more picking around with mouse lines (or spending hideous amounts of time with the pen tool)! Pressure sensitivity is a godsend for digital coloring as well.

Very true.

I spent my money on a Wii system, since I decided that I can live a while longer drawing by mouse than I can by not playing some awesome video games. ^^;

But my mother leaked some info to me that my dad ordered a tablet for me for my birthday...which happens to be in December. I don't know if her info is valid, but it's something to look forward to.

I think tablets are great, as a tool. But some people think that as soon as they get a tablet (or start doing art digitally) that makes their art 100000X better. I have nothing against them (I got one for a friend) as long people know they are a tool, just like a pen or mouse. So yea for artists who don't need tablets, because art is still cool without it.

Well said. I got a tablet late last year, but a mouse, or a simple pencil and paper do the trick, all the same. :)

I agree. I've used a tablet before. It makes a few things easier, but it's not impossible with a mouse either.

I don't have a scanner...I make do with a digital camera. :D

Mouse artists for the win! :dummy:

At any rate, I'm impressed that you put some animation up in this stamp. Wonderful!

Though, I believe you said a while back that you've been working on animation and of the sorts. Really got to keep myself updated. ^^;

At any rate, here's to us and other pen-tool/path-tool using humans! :dance:

I'm clueless about flash and such, but at least I know how old fashioned animation works: frame by frame! I had to make each frame separately...it would've been easier if I had a program to help and just write animation commands instead...

I'm still drawing on paper, which is what I'm more comfortable with. Sure you have to spend money on paper and pencils, but it's cheaper than a Tablet, and you don't have to worry about your pictures getting deleted.

Hmm...Yeah, that's to be expected...you have to input them into the computer to upload them...^^; How did I not see that? :XD:

I prefer to do all my sketches on paper first, and the color everything digitally. I'm horrible at traditional coloring.

I know how you feel. On a computer, you don't have to worry about messing up when you color the picture in, you can just undo it or fix it up.
