Personality: "Honor is what keeps me going." So, he's a little cryptic at first. Not fond of injury; tends to keep himself armored up when going places; certainly very careful regarding his health. But despite all that, he has the confidence of a well-rounded fighter, and is certainly very into having a flashy display. He is fairly certain that nothing will be able to stop him when he has a goal in mind. However, in terms of a concrete personality…"That's still in the works. I don't quite know who I am, myself. So you see where this gets difficult, right?"
Bio: "I'm Heart. Just Heart."
The overview about Heart are as follows: He is easily mistaken for a Digi-Elf, even with the use of the radar. He came to town with a worn down Hunter's blade (now repaired) that not even he knows the origins of. And he came to Oracle looking for two things: information on who he is, and information on who brought him back to life.
Heart is an amnesiac. Seems fairly common, doesn't it? And boy did he wish he knew more about himself. His earliest memory was him waking up in an unfamiliar and abandoned lab. At the time, it had come to his attention that he had no memory of his identity. To the side of the pod that he was laying in, there was a worn DigiNav and a worn sword with a cracked jewel and some sort of engraving on it. He assumed the items for himself, and continued on to figure out where he was and…what he was.
Through his journey, he found out a few key things: He cannot heal. To be specific, his body is being preserved and animated, but if certain injuries aren't dealt with immediately and properly, he will end up with things such as permanent gashes, which results in permanent stitches. He also learnt the hard way that fractured bones cannot be re-set, and thus, until recent, he did not have half of his left arm until he gained the new cybernetic prosthetic in Oracle.
The second thing he learnt involved the weird cybernetic chest plate and cavity that he knew was not part of a normal human being. The glowing core was most certainly what was keeping him alive…and it wasn't just some energy source. It was a confined Demimeramon, which is the source of the digital signature that shows up on radars, causing for him to be mistaken for a Digi-Elf. From what he's learnt about his core and what he's learnt about Digi-Elves, he is fairly certain that he is not a Digi-Elf, but instead…was someone's experiment.
Heart sought out Oracle because he has heard of certain "scientific" characters residing in their Blue Falcon Guard Team, and believed they would have information on who brought him back to life. Upon arriving, when he gazed across the lake unto Black Sword Isle, he noticed that the guard team's coat of arms matched up with the scuffed up emblem carved into the crack jewel of his blade. Surely this meant he was at the right place?
Sadly, his mystery was not going to be solved as easily. Starting out with a (hilarious) misunderstanding where he mistakes Umbris Withers as "the character that made me who I am," he spent a week with each Guard Team, starting with Blue Falcon, who helped construct him a new arm, but spent too much time trying to figure out what he is. Then he spent a week with Silver Cross, which had X-bandages and things that seemed to actually help keep his injuries from getting worse if applied in time. However, they spent too much time trying to figure out "how" he could exist, and he steadily grew uncomfortable. Black Sword didn't have any of that. They were, of course, intrigued by the fact that he had a Hunter's Blade…and when it got repaired, it turns out it wasn't just any old Hunter's Blade, but an upgraded one. Sadly, this piece of information only added more intrigue to Heart's mystery, as no one could really provide him on any further information on that blade…
However, Heart is determined that he is in the right place, and joined up as a new recruit to Black Sword, hoping that over time, he will find out more about himself, and in turn, the one that brought him back to life.
Abilities/Partner's Digivolution:
Heart is not a Digi-Elf, however, he has access to abilities due to being "merged" with Demimeramon. Mostly it's control over fire and ghostly-abilities, but he's made a few "signature techniques" out of them.
Realm of Wisps: ghostly flames that do no damage, but does well to light up dark areas…and in addition to that, they can be slapped onto someone and be used for "tagging," making targets more visible, and able to be sensed by Heart.
Hell's Blight: flames concentrate into the shape of a dagger, which Heart uses to slice or throw at his opponent. Depending on the opponent, the attack is meant to apply burning flames to the areas that will require action to douse. If not dealt with, the flames are meant to apply burns of varying degrees.
Searing Blitz: The more the opponent is affected by Hell's Blight, the more damage this may do. Heart will attempt to shove a weapon into the opponent and channel the fire through it. The flames will try to reach out to any wounds affected by Hell's Blight, burning the opponent from the inside. If the weapon was not tempered to be resistant to fire, it will be damaged or even demolished.
When Demimeramon is digivolved, it possesses the armor and weapons that Heart is using, becoming a "haunted suit of armor" for him. A good amount of "abilities" will be dependent on the armor and weapon he's holding.
Demon's Regalia: What Heart refers to his partner as after it possesses his armor and weapon.
Haunted Vessel: If he gets ahold of another weapon, he can possess it, and the weapon will act under his command without a wielder. He can only do this to one single weapon at a given time, and the possession can be broken via damaging the insignia will appear on the Haunted Vessel.
Trivia:
-He does not know what his actual age or birth date is. As a result, he wrote down the day he knew that he "woke up" as what he was now…so his ID hilariously displays him as only a year or two old.
-While he's still trying to discover more about who he is as a person, he seems very fond of complimenting females. This COULD be a sign something more to his personality...but only time would tell.
-Heart is uncomfortable with staying inside the Medical Facility. "I feel like I'll be dissected there…"
-He "dresses to impress," especially when it comes to the design of his armors.
-He is very fond of "powerful displays" and "cool effects."
-He has also made a rival out of Alabaster Estellise in regards to being "the most powerful."
-Heart is not fond of being submerged in water because it could damage his body, but he is very careful about his health and hygiene. He excused himself out of swimming across the lake as part of Black Sword's initiation in favor of an alternative.
-The encounter with Umbris Withers summed up to something like this: Heart barged in to Blue Falcon, demanding to speak to "Mr. Withers, the resident Mad Scientist," and proceeded to chew him out about "playing god." Needless to say, Umbris was NOT the one who reanimated Heart, but now the scientist is intrigued. There's no hard feelings between the two now, but there's probably constant teasing leftover from that event.
-Heart's name came from the inscription on his blade. One side of the blade says: "Honor thy Blade" and the other side says "Strengthen thy Heart."
-His DigiNav is now hooked into his cybernetic prosthetic arm.
-He doesn't really care if people mistake him for a Digi-Elf. But when given the chance, he will explain himself to see if anyone has information that could help him obtain his goal.
-"I don't like the concept of Eternal Life. How many people have I already missed since coming back to life?"
-Heart can eat food and drink beverages. His body's "new functions" pretty much breaks food all down into Bits and converts it into energy for his core. But food is a lot more tastier than Bits to consume, you know?
-He cannot be affected by alcohol.
