[Internet connection is still stable...good...]

The icy map loads, and the countdown begins...

2v2...four players total, two to each team.

During the loading, the chatbox was already alive with pre-game niceties:

K.T.Lord: glhf
CorXyon: We will. Same to you.
SvTime: no cheap shots glhf
XrisoraX: Hey hey, we might type fast but we don't cheat.
K.T.Lord: might make a blow in ur apm
XrisoraX: Trust me, it won't.
SvTime: cocky
CorXyon: Don't be too sure that we're just being cocky.

The timer hits zero, and the race begins.

[Protoss and Terran vs. two teams of Zerg. This will be interesting...]

XrisoraX sent off a scout as soon as possible...not always the best strategy but on that the Xris and Cor team always started out with...although not one that guaranteed them a win.

The scout was killed off as soon as the enemy noticed it.

[No loss there..."leave none alive." They are aggressive.]

Cor focused on the well-known Four-Gate technique...Xris continued to mine for the blue-colored minerals. But it didn't take long for two armies of Zerg to push in for the first attack...

Except team Terran and Protoss already had a decent defense up. The enemy was fended off, despite a slight loss in their numbers.

[Time to retaliate...]

Cor sends in a full Stalker team, leaving Xris to focus on Siege Tanks.

At some point in time, they mounted an offense that gave a great blow to their enemy...although their army was still killed off in the end, leaving the enemy still alive. (Cor was ever annoyed watching the blue shield-gauge run down to 0 and lose HP...)

SvTime: how th hell r u tht fast
XrisoraX: Told you that our apm won't take much of a hit.
K.T.Lord: dude u've got skill
XrisoraX: Dude, I'm a girl, LOL.
CorXyon: You guys aren't doing too bad, either.
K.T.Lord: o sry
SvTime: games not ovr yet
XrisoraX: Of course not! We haven't won yet. =P
CorXyon: Patience, everyone. Results aren't in yet.

And Sv was true. Xris and Cor made a tactical error and ended up losing half of their units, but that didn't end the game just yet. To be honest, they weren't really all that hard-core with the gaming; it was just the time-killing that mattered. The other team was competitive but there's no gloating when there is no fun, either. Push come to shove, however...

Counterattack with air-units and ground-units, plus a well-placed pylon...

And finally, two little letters in the chat from the opposing team: gg

Good Game.

The game was won.

K.T.Lord: loaded stats there, man
SvTime: do u got 4 hands or somthin?
SvTime: maybe im just tired and cant keep up anymre
XrisoraX: Well of course we've got four hands! There's two of us!
CorXyon: What she said.
SvTime: rofl
K.T.Lord: literally, right?
CorXyon: All jokes aside, nice playing.
K.T.Lord: question though
XrisoraX: Yes, yes?
CorXyon: Question for whom?
K.T.Lord: how are u two typing complete sent and everythign during the game?
CorXyon: Mad skills.
XrisoraX: Mad skills.

Miles away from players SvTime and K.T.Lord, Rise Core chuckled lightly to himself and stretched his arms, cracking his knuckles and his back as he shifted his position, a bit tired from sitting cross-legged on the floor, his choker plugging him into a power source, while his sleeves are rolled up all the way, a ring around each wrist and each upper-arm, wires coming out of the rings, plugging him into two separate computer systems that were also wired into power sources and himself.

He brought his hands together to entwine his fingers, and rested his elbows on his knees, glancing between the two screens.

It's not like he hacked the games. He was just one person playing two accounts in perfect sync, and with his Cybernetic Integration abilities, plus his nature of duality in gender, it was only natural that he would do something like this. His speed at synchronization was a great advantage...And being able to do thing efficiently always left a cool kind of rush over him. It's like ice...blue, cold, and helps computers work faster by keeping them from overheating.

But it wasn't everything...as evident in the next game, which he had lost.

He may be fast...but his strategy skills aren't fool-proof.
For the #Silver--Lights Color of the Lights event.

This is the color Blue, depicting one of the ways Rise could use his ability. What, not seeing the blue in here? Well...

Minerals are blue. Protoss are blue and gold. Terran are blue. At least, they are here from Rise's point of view.

Note: I randomly made up all four "usernames" out of the blue without thinking...especially concerning the two players of the other team. Just assume those two are random guys.

Also, I suck at StarCraft, so just ignore anything that doesn't sound right. In fact, you don't even have to think of this as StarCraft. It's just some RTG.

He uses almighty computer power to play games. Oh yeah.
